Privacy Policy

Effective August 1, 2026. This policy explains what Clinic Scout collects, why, and the choices you have. Most of the site works without giving us any personal information, and we keep what we collect to a minimum.

What the quiz collects

The provider-fit quiz asks a few health-related questions, such as a weight range, current medications, your goals, and your state. We ask you to agree before those questions appear. Your answers stay in your browser and are used only to build your result on your own device. We do not save them on our servers, do not send them to analytics, and do not include them when you contact us. Because we never receive these answers, we cannot share or sell them.

What the contact form collects

If you ask us to send a guide or to match you with a provider, the form collects your first name, email, phone, state, what matters most in your search, the page you came from, any provider you are interested in, and a record of the choices you made. We do not sell your information, and we never sell health information.

How we use it and who sees it

We use your contact details to send what you asked for. If you choose to be matched, we share only the details a provider needs to reach you, and a matched provider may contact you by phone, text, or email. We do not share your information for any other purpose.

Cookies and analytics

Necessary storage keeps the site working and remembers your choices when browser storage is available. Optional analytics and advertising measurement are separate and off by default. Analytics requires your explicit choice and the site's collection safeguards. Your quiz answers, health details, email, phone, and form entries are not analytics properties. Advertising is unavailable without an independently eligible server permission and consent service; analytics consent never authorizes it. Advertising personalization stays denied. Review or withdraw your choices at Cookie choices. If storage is blocked, a choice may not persist across visits. Withdrawal blocks future permitted collection locally; it is not a promise to erase information already received elsewhere.

Consumer health data

Some quiz questions touch on health, like your general goal or whether you expect to use insurance. Those answers stay in your browser: they are not transmitted to us, stored on our servers, shared, or sold. We do not collect diagnoses, medications, weight, or medical history. Because we never receive this data, we cannot access or disclose it — and no one can request it from us. If you ever believe health-related information reached us in error, contact us below and we will delete it and confirm.

Your rights and choices

You can unsubscribe from email at any time, and you can ask us to show, correct, or delete the information you gave us, or withdraw a consent you gave. If you live in Washington, this includes your rights under the My Health My Data Act to access and delete consumer health data and to withdraw consent. Since quiz answers never leave your browser, there is usually nothing on our side to delete.
